Here are just some of the musical topics I can help you with.
Having taught at prep, primary and secondary schools, I am familiar with teaching and motivating children in their weekly lessons.
Whether aiming for an exam or just completing their current piece, having a clear goal in mind maintains focus and helps keep things fun.
Struggling to work out that song in your Spotify playlist? Are you watching a YouTube video, but it doesn’t all make sense?
I can help you! Using simple chord symbols and/or notation, I will guide you through the chord theory and make it sound great
I am enormously proud of my students’ 100% pass rate. The two most popular exam routes are the Classical and Jazz syllabuses from ABRSM.
Trinity, RockSchool, and the new MTB exams are also an available option if desired.
Do you dread the phrase “sight-reading”? Ever wish you could learn new pieces more quickly? Got a piano exam fast-approaching?
If you answer YES to any or all of the above, I’m here to help. I LOVE teaching my students how to read music at sight – get in touch now!
Are you looking to pick up where you left off in the past? Or perhaps playing the piano is something you’ve always wanted to do – It’s never too late! Please get in touch.
I can offer daytime lessons to aid those with school-run and family commitments, etc.
Mixing up your F sharps, F major and ff (fortissimo)? I can help!
Often ignored until the last minute (whether or not you intend to take exams) – these invaluable skills and building blocks of everything musical should be ignored at your peril!
I’ll have you improvising in no time – it’s fun, and not as difficult as you think!
Spaces are limited, so don’t delay!
Please call me on 07941 035968, or email rich@KT4piano.co.uk so we can discuss your lesson requirements.
